Initial sketches and digital files of icon, index and symbol representations as well as floor plan ideas for the exhibition space. I want to create a space that reflects the energy and movement found in the music of bebop. The space will be colorful and have segments that bounce you around while walking through in a zig-zag but the direction you should walk in is clear. I want the space to embody a feeling of excitement with overlapping photos and colors that move the patron through the space.

Final Kellogg's Boxes

In my Kellogg's Rice Krispies designs I expressed Comfort, Confidence, and Energy. While creating my box for Comfort, I chose colors that were warm and charming. I chose to create hand lettering to create an informal and homey feel to the box and chose Archer for my digital-based font because it is a friendly slab-serif that is modern yet familiar. I also chose a traditional cereal box layout to further exude Comfort for the user. Overall, I decided my Comfort box would be best for a client because it would potentially have the most commercial success with the general public.

Chance Game

Today we flipped coins told decide our type placement, point size, style and position. First we took exactly what the coin toss told us and then we edited that to make it a bit more what we wanted.
